The room was big, but the upstairs mattress was not that comfy. The morning sun comes in through the roof window and makes the upstairs loft impossible to sleep in. The mini fridge is noisy and needs to be replaced. The bathhouse is nice as it is bookable. The breakfast was nice and host was polite. However, there is a rule to change into provided slippers after entering the mansion. That is a little uncomfortable as not sure how many other people have worn the slippers. I can understand if it’s for the individual room but not sure why it’s a rule for the entire mansion.

A lovely property set in pretty surroundings, with Mt Fuji visible from the breakfast table. I’m so happy to have stayed here, it was a lovely place to return to at the end of each day. The room was comfortable, with heating / aircon, a fridge, TV, wash basin and toilet. Although the bathroom was shared, don’t be put off by this. I didn’t have a problem accessing it and it was always spotlessly clean. The cinema room is great, and you can borrow bikes to get around the lake if you choose. Breakfast was delicious, and the host - Tomosan - could not have been friendlier or more helpful. I’m delighted to have chosen Ryosha Tsukiakari and can’t recommend it highly enough. I’m already planning to come back!

Large traditional room. Very comfortable Tatami beds. Theatre room was a lovely bonus. Onsen was also a nice touch. Coffee was some of the best I've had anywhere. Location was about 1.5km from Lake Yamanakaka.

Excellent location,close to the lake, cafe and scenic spots. Good value for money. The venue is clean and we really enjoyed the short stay.

I love the tranquility and vibe of this place. The heated flooring is also a plus. It’s a place I would definitely go back to if I ever visit Mt Fuji again.

Need a rental car to reach. Quiet location but short drive away to the lake and many places. There is a nice eating place across the road for drinks and dinner. Even came across a deer at night just outside on the road! Just note that the bath is shared with all guests so need to take turn. But bath area is big and has a hot tub
