Room was fantastic. Very clean and modern. Bed was comfy and shower was great. Breakfast was also fabulous and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Great view from bedroom window too.

A newly refurbished pub with rooms which were a pleasant surprise - very good value for money and nicely done. A little noisy but that could not be helped really. Breakfast was included in the room rate.

The property is old .. clearly had a lot of money and thought went into it and it was great old meets tasteful new .. the staff where great the customers where a mix of old and young .. and warm .. this is coming for from a grumpy Scottish man ..

Room lovely, clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast top notch and pleasant surprise that it was included. Breakfast was not mentioned at all on booking.com so we were expecting to pay for it!

Waht a cracking hotel. Everything about this place was spot on. Food, real ales, staff etc were great. We were lucky to have the premium room which is room 1 at the top of the stairs. Wow. The attention to detail is superb. Great place to stay and we will definitely be back.
