Fantastic property, fantastic location, and fantastic staff! Nalin deserves an extra special mention, as do Johnny and Janith. Nothing was too much trouble for the duration of our stay. The food was delicious, the bed comfortable, and the sea view from the balcony breathtaking (if you don’t like the sound of the waves, as some have mentioned, take earplugs!). It is a perfect location if you want to get away from it all, but it’s only a tuk-tuk ride away from busier areas (or hire a moped as we did, arranged by the hotel).

Everything. Amazing view from the balcony, incredible food with lots of choice, the friendliest staff especially towards are 11 month baby - they constantly were making him smile. It was paradise from the first moment we walked through the door. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

Beautiful resort with a clean infinity pool and direct access to a palm tree beach and the sea. Temperature in the pool is pleasant. The room is nice and offers a large balcony towards the sea. It’s simply fantastic to wake up with that view. Spacious bathroom with a hot shower.

Beautiful clean pool. Vert quiet. Private beach but in any case not many people around. Perhaps 1 person/hr from a neighbouring private beach resort may walk past. My seaview room was very attractive. There's a water nature reserve with guides a 5 minute walk away. My guide was rather useless though. The beach is long, apparently cleaned every morning from tidal deposits, pretty free of debris, impressive for Asia.

Beautiful hotel, right on the beach. Very friendly staff and delicious food. They have a standard western breakfast offer, but since we're eating gluten and dairy free they prepared us very jummy sri lankan breakfast.

Breathtaking seclusion, immaculate and spacious, with just the right number of rooms and a sense of rare tranquility. The pool was incredible and it was special to be open direct on the beach. We had the sea to ourselves and my husband and eleven year old swam every day.

Everything about our stay here was absolutely perfect. The hotel is situated right next to the beach and has comfy sun loungers and an incredible pool. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful whilst also being discrete and allowing you privacy. The wide expanse of beach is an absolute luxury as it's not busy at all. Although you can't swim in the sea this really wasn't a problem as it was still great to walk along the beach and swim in the pool instead. Whilst this is mainly an area to relax, we visited Kalametiya bird sanctuary which was an incredible experience where we saw lots of different species of birds whilst on the boat.

This hotel is truly amazing, situated in an idyllic location far from the noise and hassle of everything else. It's a perfect retreat to find peace and relax, with the only sounds being the ocean waves. The staff is very welcoming, and I hope they are compensated adequately for the excellent service they provide. The photos on the booking site are not exaggerated; it is just as beautiful as it looks. Dinner at the hotel is of high quality, featuring fresh fish caught that day, which we found delicious. If you are staying for a few days, I highly recommend trying the other restaurant just a 2-minute walk away on the beach (google it). It offers , hands down, the best fish we had in Sri Lanka at a very reasonable price.

Fantastic hotel right on the beach, with a view of the pool and sea to the front and the jungle and lagoon in the 'backyard'. The beach itself is endless, very beautiful and quiet. In contrast to the sea, which was very rough and not really for swimming. But there is a very nice and clean pool where you can cool off. In general, the whole hotel and our room were very clean, in good condition and somewhat minimalist but well furnished. Breakfast and dinner were very good, we were also offered vegetarian options, so there must have been a change in the kitchen when I read reviews from previous years. The staff were always available and very friendly to us, including a little training on how to properly eat typical local delicacies such as string hoppers and egg hoppers. We were almost sad when we had to leave. If you are looking for a few days of peace on the beach, this is the place for you.

Amazing hotel! Modern and clean, spacious room with a beach view from the balcony, comfortable bed, the staff was excellent! The food was delicious! We arrived late the first day and were still able to have dinner, although the restaurant was closed.. they organized tours for us, we had a very pleasant and calm stay, we will definitely come back❤️
