The welcome from reception. Our room was really nice and it really helped that my husband was able to climb the stairs to our room on the first floor. It was exceptionally clean and my request for no feather bedding was honoured. We have stayed at the BOLD before and if we come to Southport again we will definitely stay there.

A lovely place to stay, everyone who works there made you feel welcome, lovely atmosphere, great service, friendly, clean. Definitely stay again. I've already recommended it to my family and friends. Great location, parking on site can offer an alternative. Breakfast you had great choice, the carvery has a choice for everyone.

The first morning it was not hot enough, but after reporting this to the staff member on the second morning it was really much better and very enjoyable. The choice of food was excellent.

The staff are very friendly. The bar/eating area are very welcoming and relaxing. I felt safe on my own. The quality of food was very good. I could just have room only. The room decor was very good. The girl on reception apologised for the room noise and was helpful explaining the best way to secure a quieter room in future.
