Small, compact and intimate hotel. Could stumble out of the room and straight into the pool. The staff were lovely and attentive.

I liked its location. It is not located in the city centre, but rather in a relatively quiet area north of the centre. I understand that this means there are not a lot of restaurants around, but tuktuks are very easy to call and can take you anywhere. I liked the fact that it is quiet at night, and while the outside might be a rural dusty area, the property enables guests to relax and enjoy their time off. I also liked the overall design of the property, not just of the common areas but also of the individual rooms. The overall aesthetics was definitely pleasing, and was the perfect place to relax.

Optimal situation for visiting Ankor Wat. The rooms are around a very large pool. Breakfast is good; the kitchen for dinner is superb. No need to leave the resort. Service is perfect, they try to fulfill every wish.

All the food was very good. There were good deals on the cocktails, and the pool was very pleasant for a leisurely swim. We took the inclusive breakfast option, and we enjoyed it every day, including a breakfast box when we did the sunrise tour at Angkor Wat. The staff were all very helpful, and very approachable. The Grand Venus la Residence has a relaxed and peaceful ambience... just what we wanted.
