Location was fab - very close to town, yet just far enough away to be quiet. Characterful property. Great spacious room - it was nice to have a sofa too.

Very central in the town. Historic old building, ‘quirky’, but comfortable in all respects. There’s no breakfast, but a wide choice of breakfast options very close by.

The rooms are always lovely, the staff there always welcome you with a smile and are more than helpful if needed. The back garden is a beautiful place to unwind.

The house was from around 1500-1600, which we found very exciting! Someone wrote that it is like living in a museum, and I can only agree. The garden was fantastic and the location just 100 yards from the city center. I can definitely recommend this place!

A great location for visiting Ross-on-Wye and parking was provided in a private car park about 50m away. The building is very old and quite historic, but definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues with two flights of steep stairs to negotiate. Lots of interesting furniture and artwork, and we enjoyed a warm welcome from Katherine.
