Were here for the second time, the place has been renovated and looks amazing! Everything about our stay was great: rooms were spacious enough, clean, breakfast was for us great! Not a masses hotel, very cozy! We‘ll definitely stay here next time we‘re in Rethymnon!

The location is exceptional in terms of proximity to the beach. It is quite noisy because of the street in front of the hotel, which is quite busy with traffic.

The view. All rooms have sea view. You can hear the sound of the waves, but also the traffic noise. However, the balcony door did an excellent job soundproofing the noise. The wifi worked very well. For guests outside EU who have to mitigate roaming costs, this could be a major plus. Fresh orange juice at breakfast from real oranges. :) The staff were very friendly and the cleaning service was excellent.

This is a dream hotel. It's amazing good value.. it's small and cute but with everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. Really appreciated the family touch and the lovely breakfast with fresh orange juice. And the Greek yogurt with honey was a lovely touch. It's also directly opposite a beautiful beach.

We had a fantastic stay at Poseidon Hotel in Rethymno, Crete! This small-scale family hotel is a true gem, located right on the boulevard and the beautiful beach of Rethymno. The hotel has a lovely terrace where we enjoyed a good breakfast every morning. The rooms have been recently renovated and offer all the comfort you need, with a great bathroom and a balcony with a breathtaking view of the sea. What made our stay extra special was the hospitality of owner Alex and his wonderful team. They are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Despite the hotel's location on the boulevard, we experienced no noise disturbance as long as the sliding door was closed. This ensured a peaceful and relaxing night's sleep. The hotel's private beach, Prasines Poseidon beach, was another highlight. The beach staff was extremely helpful, even when it came to setting up a second parasol. The service on the beach was quick and efficient, allowing us to fully enjoy our days by the sea. In short, Poseidon Hotel is an absolute recommendation for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing holiday in Crete. Alex and his team have everything perfectly arranged.
