The hotel has a very warm, welcoming feel. The staff have big smiles. It is a quiet place to unwind in a fairly remote spot. Nice big rooms and beds, a lounge, a library, and other rooms to relax in. The food was excellent, too.

A wonderful ambiance. We felt welcome throughout our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. The gardens are beautiful and very peaceful.

The dinner and breakfast were a delight. We had Connemara lamb which was melt-in-your-mouth tender and delicious. The property is a grand old lady and probably needs an injection of energy and money around the house and grounds to bring it to the standard of the advertised tariffs.

We brought our dog Sophie and they were very dog friendly allowing her into the library room and the grounds were fabulous for her to run around. The staff were absolutely amazing the nicest we've come across in years. The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. Food was very good quality and plenty of it, we will be definitely be back, thanks guys Vivienne, Eddie and Sophie.
