Hotel Overview

Set in Elba’s countryside, Resort Le Picchiaie is only 10 minutes’ drive from Portoferraio and Porto Azzurro. It boasts air-conditioned rooms, a wellness centre and 2 outdoor pools.
Offering free WiFi, Resort Le Picchiaie’s rooms have classic-style furnishings. All come with a TV, while some have a minibar. Some rooms features a balcony and/or overlook the sea.
A buffet breakfast is served until 10:30 and croissants are available at the bar until 12:00. Lunch can be enjoyed at the poolside restaurant. The hotel’s à la carte restaurant features Tuscan specialities and local wines, with views of Portoferraio Gulf.
The wellness centre includes a Turkish bath, a hot tub and sauna. You can sip cocktails on the terrace and, on certain evenings, you can also enjoy live piano music.
Discounts are available at the nearby golf club, diving centre and on boat tours. Capoliveri can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Parking at the property is free.

Fairly decent accommodation in the hills above Portoferraio, it has its best days behind it, but still is quite OK. It has a very nice and quite large pool, with deep end (3m), so you could jump in there as much as you want. There was also a tennis court. The view of the city is quite nice from the hills above it.

Beautiful resort on a quiet mountain near Portoferraio. Nice pool and Tennis courts available for free. Our room had a fantastic view and was very comfortable and practical. Central location on Elba, so everything is very reachable by car.
