The location was perfect. Quiet, river frontage and very relaxing. Hosts were accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. Although cabins are not modern, they are clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

My husband, Lou bear & I stayed at Alpine Riverside Cottages in Porepunkah from 8.1.25-10.1.25. Narelle, the host is very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our cabin was beautifully presented and was bright, inviting and sparkling clean. It was fully self-contained. The really tall trees and river flowing through in the backyard provided a breathtaking and peaceful setting. We loved the beauty, tranquillity and comfort of our cabin. It was conveniently located to lots of activities and only minutes to Bright's cafes, restaurants, retail and supermarkets. We very highly recommend Alpine Riverside Cottages. Narelle was super friendly to us, as we arrived by bicycle on hot day she gave us a cold drink and offered to drive us to the pub down the road for dinner. Couldn’t have asked for a friendlier host. Cottages are absolute river frontage where you can swim right there.

Narelle went above and beyond to drop me up the road for a wedding, really made me feel like a guest with that extra gesture of hospitality. Meant I could have some bubbles with the couple and not worry about driving home. The riverside location is dreamy. Would have loved to spend longer lolling about in the river.

The ducks! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. It was clean, easy to find, comfortable. Awesome spot by the river and bbq area was superb.

The location was a little out of the town but well worth the outstanding surrounds and view of the Ovens River, lovely spaces for sitting by the river and great spaces for children to play.
