Lovely helpful staff. Excellent location; decor was fine; mattress and pillows a little soft and felt well used but OK. Breakfast hot food prepared to order and decent quality. Shame there was no fish offer (kipper;smoked haddock etc) as Penzance is renowned for its fresh fish.

Rm15 was well decorated, provisioned with a variety of tea/coffee and very clean. Sadly let down due to noise from the external HVAC vent outside the bedroom wall which generated noise. The lady at night reception on arrival was very attentive listening to an issue I raised regarding an early morning taxi. She efficiently resolved this and was very helpful. The day receptionist was friendly and attentive offering the opportunity of breakfast but sadly due to time constraints I could not accept. The reception area in the morning ambience in the reception was nice clean and fresh. The night porter was particularly helpful with local knowledge imparting it with a friendly manner with local anecdotes.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel! The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide selection of delicious options, all of the highest quality. The staff were attentive and made sure each morning started perfectly. The location was just as impressive – perfectly positioned for both convenience and exploring the area. An exceptional experience, and I would gladly return!
