This family-run, newly renovated guesthouse is beautifully located in the idyllic town of Obertraun in the Salzkammergut region, only a few steps away from the shores of picturesque Lake Hallstatt.
Haus Hepi B&B has a lounge area with sofas, a mini bar, tea and coffee-making facilities and a log-burning stove.
The panoramic mountain scenery can be admired from the bedrooms’ south-facing balconies and from the terrace.
The traditionally furnished rooms have modern bathrooms.
The hearty breakfast buffet is served on the sunny terrace in fair weather.
Some evenings dinner is served by prior arrangement. The dining room has views of the surrounding mountains and forests.
Haus Hepi B&B is close to the Dachstein Caves, the historic town of Hallstatt, and the spa town of Bad Ischl.
The Krippenstein ski area is only 2 km away. The Dachstein-West region with 140 km of slopes can be reached in only 20 minutes.
There are many hiking and biking trails that start at Haus Hepi B&B.

It hard to put into words what a wonderful time we had staying in Obertraun and at Lisa and Larry’s beautiful B and B We really didn’t want to leave. The house was so thoughtfully decorated, cosy and comfortable. The views are exceptional and the breakfast was superb too. Larry and Lisa are the warmest people and made us feel so welcome and gave us all the information to make the best of our a time in the stunning area of Obertraun.

Lisa and Larry the hosts are the best out there. There are humane, kind, communicative, caring and so much more than just the owners of the property. It felt like home away from home - clean room, caring people, great breakfast, amazing recommendations for attractions around the area, and even great help with understanding the local transportation- timing, location and delays.

Our room was cosy, clean & super quiet with beautiful mountain view. A very convenient location to get to Hallstatt, many beautiful walks nearby. Bus stop is a 1 min walk. Larry & Lisa were super friendly...we felt welcomed the moment we walked in. Larry welcomed us with a big smile ;-) Lisa shared with us dirndl stories...beautifullllll :-)) Breakfast was super, fresh and varied, we had the "romantic table" with the mountain view, stuffing our faces...haha. Thanks again for spoiling us. There was an "honesty bar" outside our room, where you could grab a bottle of beer or wine or juice conveniently. Excellent idea. We highly recommend Hepi Haus and we hope to be back too.
