I stayed at this hostel before and came back because it was so decent. Yes the price is expensive for a hostel, but compared to New York prices it is so reasonable! They've updated the bunkbeds since I came last with curtains on the beds to allow privacy which was nice. The beds are comfy and a good size. I was in a room of 6 and stayed for 5 nights. I was initially allocated a top bunk but the staff were lovely to let me change to a bottom bunk when they came available half way through my stay which I appreciated. It's well situated just 2 blocks from central park and super near a 1 line metro stop only taking about 15 minutes to midtown so really fine for a city stay! The kitchen facilities are great, there are loads of events going on at the hostel like tours and all, and there is also a cafe which is handy if you wanna grab a coffee of something on the way out in the morning! The bathroom was nearby me and was always kept clean and pleasant. Definitely would stay again in future!

Old-ish rustic building but it does exactly what it needs to. Excellent location just a block away from the subway. Bed was comfy, fitted with a reading light and charging ports. When I arrived my bed looked like it had been occupied and not cleaned out, but the staff at the front desk quickly assigned me another bed no issue, which was very helpful of them. You do need your own lock for the locker, or you can buy one for $6 at the front desk. Bathrooms were clean, water pressure in the shower was just a little low and took a while for water to heat up, but still worked just fine. Towels and bedsheets provided for free.

The beds were great – each had curtains, a plug, and a light. The lockers in the room were also big enough to fit a carry-on suitcase. The location was close to the subway, making it easy to reach popular spots in NYC.

The hostel offers many activities for socializing, such as welcome parties, comedy sessions, and sightseeing tours, making the experience fun and engaging. The locker in the room is very spacious – it fit my carry-on suitcase and backpack, and it also has a place to hang coats. I stayed in the 4-bed female dorm, and it was comfortable and well-organized. There is a small floor light that prevents the room from being completely dark at night, which is a great feature for those who need to move around without disturbing others. The bed and mattress were typical for a hostel – nothing luxurious, but for me was ok. The location is a bit far from the city center but easily accessible by metro and in a quieter area.

It's super clean, hostel with hotel quality 👍, the kitchen is spacious and complete kitchen tools and fridge. Drinking water and desinfections station is easy to find, good location only 1-2 blocks away to bus stop or subway, 1 block away to 7-eleven, pizza across the street. Friendly and helpfull staffs. The shower is not too warm, but i survived. Pricey for a hostel, but it's really comes with the quality 👍

Huge building, many amenities, popular, lots of people to meet, all-gender facilities (bathrooms and showers), and each bed had its own light / privacy curtain / outlets
