I loved this hotel, the ambience the atmosphere was perfect and exactly what I needed as a solo traveller. The location was perfect, it is walking distance to all the well-known places in New Orleans but far enough so you can have some peace and quiet. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I loved my room. It was super spacious, and the decor definitely fit in with the New Orleans vibes. This hotel is a gem!

Roof bar gave splendid views, and location of hotel was very convenient for access to conference centre, NFL stadium, WWII museum and french district. There were two convenience stores across the road and plenty of jazz music coming from the downstairs lounge.

Location was perfect for where we wanted to visit. French quarter and magazine street were easily accessible. Staff at the hotel were so helpful and friendly.

The Barnett is just fabulous. We had a brilliant 3 day stay here. Fantastic staff, gorgeous rooms, bar, cafe, rooftop pool.

Overall a pleasant experience; the roof top pool area is divine, adding a wonderful dimension to the stay. Rooms are trendily styled, and overall pleasant. Did not try any of the food, it was way, way too cold to eat there - see comment under what we didn't like.
