Karun was a fantastic host. This has been the best place we’ve stayed in India so far. He was so welcoming and helpful, sorting us a canoe tour in the area, helping us get to and from the accommodation, and providing the most delicious home cooked food (the prawn roast was amazing!) The accommodation is still new and was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Munroe island was the most beautiful and peaceful place - we were sad we could only stay for one night and would recommend 2 minimum.

Nice clean room with finally something to hang clothes which we were missing before. Location has a nice terrace and is very accessible. It is also good for a boatrip being very effectively organized by the very motivated host. Thank you!

The best thing about this homestay is our host, Karun, who tended to all our needs very efficiently. The meals, prepared by his mother, were delicious, especially the prawns! He quickly fixed the problems we had with the water supply in the bathroom. Top chap!

Karun was very nice. The room was clean. He can arrange every kind of activities for you. We rent some bicycles for nothing and it was really great. Food was great

Arun was an excellent host and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable and had excellent air conditioning. The homestead is in a great location on the back waters and Arun organised a canoe to pick us up directly outside. There was a lovely veranda to sit out. We had good home cooked Keralan food.

The house is new and cozy. It does have all the facilities you need. Located in the middle of Monroe Island this house is just the best place to visit this part of India with authenticity. Karun (the host) is just super nice and he will make you feel at home at every moment. He booked for me a beautiful boating tour at the sunrise. He was always asking if I need food for lunches and dinners and served me delicious dishes when asked, directly at home. He also lended his scooter to let me visiting around the area. Just the best host I could ask for.
