Please note that Bora Bora is a 45-minute flight from Papeete. Boat transfers from the Bora Bora Airport to the resort are available upon reservation and are charged at an additional cost of XPF 8,750 per person, each way. Please contact Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort in advance to organise your transfer. You can contact the hotel using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.On the occasion of Christmas (24/12) and New Year (31/12), dinner is obligatory. The price displayed online includes 2 people (for 2 people). Any additional dinner will be charged.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. we stayed 2 nights in an overwater bungalow mountain view. the views were as beautiful as the pictures, even with changable weather, its even better in person, the colours are amazing. worth getting up at dawn for the gorgeous sunrise. we got the transfer from the airport which is more expensive than going independently but so glad we did becasue it was amazing, views, super friendly boat driver and a really exciting way to arrive. We liked that the decor of the bungalows was more luxuary rustic rather than sleek modern . the glass table was the best feature. room is large, felt very secure. the deck and access to the crystal clear turquoise waters are fabulous. great they are helping grow coral under the bungalows. we went out for a paddle on the outrigger canoe and used the paddle boards and kayaks. if we had stayed a little longer would have gone further out, but thats very weather dependent. there is a sheltered shallow area around the bungalows so safe to swim even if it does get windy and rainy. saw colourful fishes and eagle rays from the bungalow but need to go further afield to see more. we prefered being on the main island for this, our first time to Bora Bora. The dessert part of the evening buffet was exceptional- proabaly the best hotel desserts at a buffet we've ever had. breakfast has good selection, lovely teas. Staff are friendly and calm , the owner makes a point of greeting everyone and checking in with guests. The sand is soft and pristine , the pool is sort of not needed in such a great setting but is a lovely quiet oasis and open till late, was really nice to swim at night in the rain. matira beach is very very close and is gorgeous and there are snack bars and cocktails avilable very close to the hotel if you are staying longer and want some variety. also kitesurfing and all the usual tours. overall we wished we could have stayed longer but the 2 nights was a fabulous experince..

Stunning resort! The rooms and the resort as a whole are beautiful. All staff are extremely friendly. Rooms size is amazing, with very comfy bed and good shower. Food was also excellent.

Warm welcome, incredible view and snorkeling beneath your feet. We were happily surprised by how amazing everything was. The staff was welcoming, food was good and the views/little extras really made our trip really special. It’s more expensive but definitely worth it!

The staff is so friendly and welcoming, the manageress is superb. Location central, beautiful, different shades of blue water with pink flowers everyware. For a small cost you can visit their sister resort with arguably the best view of mount Otemanu. I think this is a must stop in Bora Bora. Parasailing and boat excursions few meters away as well as small shop and other restaurants close by. Probably one of the few resorts on the main island that you won't need a car, however Avis car and scooter rental a few meters down the road. Oh and Matira Beach is walking distance away. Absolutely beautiful. Well done Le Moana. 👏👏👏

The location was fabulous with breathtaking views of the lagoon. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bungalows were clean, comfortable, and had all you needed.. The food and drink.offerings also really good and, on comparison, not too badly priced. (You expect to pay more on an island in the middle of an ocean).
