Great location on the bay. Little bit of a walk to restaurants and bars but easy to park. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Good for a short stay.

It was a good hotel very clean and staff were very good only downside was it is cold at night time as there was no heating on day or night so didn't sleep very well apart from that good hotel to stay and breakfast was plentiful and good

All the staff were lovely and friendly- they all loved our puppy who was made very welcome! The room was lovely- especially the big bed! My son said it was very comfy! Good location- easy to find from the motorway and a short stroll to the busier part. We enjoyed exploring the rocky beach across the road.

The staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. The receptionist was exceptional. The room was a good size with a bath and a shower. Great sea view. Good breakfast. Our stay was comfortable and we enjoyed ourselves.

The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. The breakfast was slightly disappointing no pure juice only dilute squash and cheap instant coffee, a few nicer ingredients it could have been lovely instead it felt like it was done “on the cheap” would stay again but probably not have breakfast

I've never felt so at home in a hotel as I did at The Strathmore. Other guests soon became friends, other dogs playmates to my little one. Sadie had a wonderful time, lots of fuss and attention. The room was excellent. Nothing was a problem for Keiran, who carried a giant bear to and from the car for me. He was a real gem. The other staff were wonderful too, especially the lady on reception who gave me a baby spider plant to bring home. I will be back, with bells on. Get the malt whisky ready!
