Property is steps away from the train station, overlooking the sea with 3 other 5terre towns and restaurants nearby. The room is clean, towels and toiletries are provided.

Amazing location. View from seaview balcony was exceptional. Perfect for relaxing on the verandah with a glass of wine. The rooms were beautiful and clean with plenty of space. Bathrooms were renovated and clean. Water was complimentary when we arrived. Marco was the best host and helped us with all our bags up the stairs. I will definitely return as soon as I can. Loved Monterosso.The apartment is only a short walk to the station.

This was an nothing short of amazing. I had a slip up in my travel plans and was able to communicate and amend my dates easily and received clear prompt and kind responses. The staff are so friendly and nothing was a problem. I had injured myself and was traveling alone and was helped with my bags to my water view room which was breath taking. I left my balcony door open at night and listened to the waves lapping the shore. Lots going on the bard walk to watch as I sipped my coffee in the mornings and you can see the most amazing sun rises and the lights of the other villages from your chair and even the bed:) The walls are adorned with a local photographers ( Simon art work including snippets of what you can see. Monterosso is the first or last village, depending on which way to approach the coast. The Guest house is a vert short walk from the train station which has step free access from the end of the platforms. ( lucky for me:) There are great restaurants right there on the water front and a convenience store which sells fresh produce and good local wines. Higly recommended for solo female travelers

Loved the terrace! It was so close to the beach you could literally toss a pebble in from our balcony. Loved the sound of the water at night, and loved how close it was to cafes and transport. Marco was an exceptionally helpful manager with lots of advice on the hiking trails and attractions.

Perfect location! The train stop was just a minute from the place. The balcony overlooking the water was the best. Marco was fantastic, meeting me out the front of the building and providing me with a map and information on the best places to eat and things to do. He even walked my suitcase up the flight of stairs to my room! The room had everything you’d need. Would definitely recommend.

Marco was super helpful. Communication was exceptional! Weather did not cooperate but our location and view from the room was beautiful. Would definately recommend!

Beautiful views from the balcony of the sea (super close to it). Very nice and spacious and clean. The sound of the sea was so lovely to sleep to at night. The room was freshened up each day. Marco was a wonderful host, so helpful when we arrived and gave lots of information, very nice and friendly. Was a wonderful stay — 100% recommend!! 🥰

The view is top tier, I genuinely could have stayed in the room my entire stay and been fulfilled. Listening to the sound of the ocean in the evening was so wonderful. The staff are incredible helpful (thank you Marco) especially for local tips and just genuinely feeling like they’re happy to have you there. Super comfy bed and perfect location quieter side of town (at night). 10/10 would stay again !

The Al Mare guesthouse was incredible, we loved our stay here. The sea view room had the most beautiful views of the Monterosso promenade and the location was so accessible and quick from the train station. Marco was so helpful from check in to check out, he helped us with our luggage up the stairs and provided great tips for food spots around the town. The room was spacious and comfortable.
