Extensive hotel renovations are taking place until late 2025. You may experience disturbances and noise from 9:00 until 18:00 daily. Please also note, there is a 1.4% credit card surcharge when using a credit card. For pre-paid bookings the card holder must present a valid credit matching to their photo ID on check in.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. The room was inexpensive and minimal. However it was comfortable enough. I didn't have a long stay. It was a nice clean room and useful for a short stay. While the bed was small it was preferable to have a single bed and more room than to have a huge bed and no moving space. While there were not extra frills like complimentary toiletries, I liked that there was a hairdryer which is very useful. I thought it was a clean place, staff were helpful and I found the Melbourne map in the lobby helpful as well. Checkin and checkout were very smooth. Excellent location. While the blurb of the hotel warned there might be noise due to construction, I did not experience this - my room was very peaceful.

Clean bed linen, towels and comfy bed. Although it was a small room, we had everything we needed. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful and gave us a free sewing kit as my belt broke. We didn't use the breakfast option.
