- Lovely location ☀️ - Lovely staff 🧍♀️ 🧍♂️ - Cabin was very clean, tidy and cosy 🧼 💘 - Great views 🦚 🐑 🐮 🦌 🐶 - Shop on site, close to pubs 🍷 and take away delivery available 🍲 - Lots of parking available 🚗 - Not far to drive into Matlock 🐟 🍟 - The best part was the private hot tub 🛁 Would highly recommend ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

It was located in a very lovely location, it was very clean and cosy. The host was really lovely and welcoming. I enjoyed the hot tub!

This is a stunning property!! We came for my partner’s birthday, and we spent a gorgeous weekend lazing in the hottub and relaxing! The wildlife definitely gets up close and personal! We had the privilege of meeting a peacock we named Rodrick, and the cows from the fields, who came to say hello. We visited the alpaca’s and the sheep that are on the way in too. Overall a gorgeous weekend, and the manager/staff were very lovely, welcoming and helpful!

May seem expensive compared to other options but well worth every penny. Excellent facilities. Earlier comments mentioned "no microwave " but owners had responded to this and one was available.

Staff were polite and friendly, the owner's even dropped us a card and bottle of wine round when they found out it was our honeymoon. Perfect little getaway.

My new favourite place,ideal location, spotless, comfy bed,private hot tub and added attraction was the Resident peacock , have already booked again

We had stayed last year and loved it so much we returned and had a longer stay.The only problem we had were on a couple of occasions other guests walked into the barn, maybe some sign could be put up to make them aware guests are staying there to stop this from happening again.The accommodation is excellent, and the location.We are even missing Percy the peacock.Look forward to staying again.
