Can't tell you about the park because was closed but our room was nice spacious and clean a lovely little balcony added bonus

We have stayed here for a weekend 4 Christmases in a row and each time it is a delight. The themed rooms are fantastic and very cosy. The location is right in Matlock Bath and the walk into Matlock itself is not unreasonably far. The staff have become increasingly more welcoming and helpful each year, this year they were outstanding. If you are staying in the castle looking block (wizard theme) on the first floor the views are spectacular, unfortunately the pirate looking block doesn't have the best view due to it being blocked by trees.

The pirate room was very well laid out for a family. Really great to have a proper separate room for the kids. The room theme was also really good and great to have patio doors and a balcony looking out to a nice view across the valley.
