I was upgraded to a junior suite which was amazing. Great big room. Very comfortable and slept like a log (once I worked out how to close the shutters on the skylights!). Location very convenient for the train station, although it felt dodgy walking nearby after dark. Great to have a kettle in the room, but tiny cups and no spoon or stirrer made things difficult.

Excellent location right by the station and within walking distance of the historic centre and port. Metro station opposite. Very quiet as we were at the back. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room had everything we needed including bottles of water and a kettle for making hot drinks. Although the weather was poor, it was an ideal place to break our journey and to see a bit of Marseille which has a lot to offer. Highly recommended.

Whether you are planning to visit the city or stay just for the night to catch an early bus or train the Alex Hotel is the perfect choice. As a solo traveller I felt safe because it was right opposite the train station. The room was big, comfy, and clean. I didn't use the spa but it's definitely a plus for those who want to relax. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back.

Easy to get to. Close enough to the marina and places to sight see. The property was clean and quiet. I had a restful sleep.

Location perfect for the station and not far from the old port. Staff were exceedingly helpful. Room for 3 was very well designed to give some privacy for the extra bed(room) Very good breakfast and nice outdoor seating.

The room was clean ancd confortable. We only stayed for one night . The bed is big and confortable. The size of the room is not great but manageble.The staff was great and professional.
