The staff were amazing. The location was great. The egg station man cooked the best eggs. The resort was in walking distance to all the things i needed.

The warmth and hospitality of the staff at Alum KulKul was second to none. From the reception staff to the gardeners, everyone was friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and greeting and prepared to help in any way possible. The only things I would mention is that, as Westerners, I think we are accustomed to softer beds and so we all found the beds quite hard, however this was quickly fixed with a mattress topper when we mentioned it. The only complaint I would have is the exorbitant price they charged for doing the laundry. Definitely go to a street vendor for that as $55 for four days worth of clothing was extreme! Aside from that, I would highly recommend everything else about the resort. Room service and food were great too.

Great hotel, right across the road from Kuta beach. The beach was a bit of a garbage dump due to the bad storms on our arrival. The hotel was excellent, with a great breakfast. We were on the third floor. There is no elevator in this hotel, so if you are mobility impaired, keep this in mind and request a ground floor. Pools were great. We hung out by the pools a couple of days because it was too rough to swim. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. They were all Australian oriented because they are so close to get to Bali. Nothing against aussies, just didn’t go to Bali to hang out at Aussie bars and restaurants.

I would like to thank the entire hotel staff for making our entire family's stay so enjoyable, with special thanks to the receptionist Fian. We also enjoyed a few pleasant moments in the hotel pool. The water was clear, well temperatured and the pool was maintained.
