Air-conditioning is available in your villa, based on availability. Please note that for guests arriving on the 9:00 or 13:00 ferry, your room will not be ready until 14:00. SECURITY BOND AT KINGFISHER BAY RESORT Our resort check-in time is from 2:00 PM on day of arrival and your credit card is required upon check-in for security deposit. Resort Hotel accommodation requires a security deposit of $200 for incidentals during your stay. In the event that accommodation or transfers were not prepaid, the value of the stay and transfers will be held as a payment in addition to $200 for incidentals. Villas require a security deposit of $300 for incidentals during your stay. In the event that accommodation or transfers were not prepaid, the value of the stay and transfers will be held as a payment in addition to $300 for incidentals. If no credit card is available, a cash or debit card payment can be made on check in to the same amount with a refund of the difference on check out.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. The staff were really helpful and provided great suggestions to both dining and things to do on the island. The location on the island was okay. The food options were diverse with Dune being a real standout for us. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was spot on. It was easy to walk around the resort and to get to where you need to be relatively quickly.

The pool area was amazing. The gardens around the hotel were beautiful. The room was clean and modern. A very comfortable stay. The reception was friendly and helpful with booking tours, etc. They listened to my needs and helped me get the best scope of the bus tour.

This time visit i felt the accommodation was too far away, the accommodation had lots of micro ants 🐜 making our stay really hard in keeping food safe. Ordering meals at the restaurant needs an update of how customer service is provided.

It’s a lovely resort, a great place to stay. It is showing signs of wear and is in need of some loving. We loved the cocktails by the pool.

Always had Fraser Island (K'gari Island now) as bucket list destination, and it didn't disappoint it, loved the beautiful hotel, comfy apartment with all the amenities, luxury bathroom, lots of space, the discovery centre, and handy food store. Staff was always very friendly and helpful. Pool was exquisite.
