The Oasis Hotel is a haven from the busyness of Kathmandu. Set in a peaceful street in Thamel with a garden eating area, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel management are so very organized, efficient and hospitable and that helpful approach is reflected in the staff as well. Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Breakfast is varied and tasty and the restaurant is very good as well. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect. The location, the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the breakfast spread exceeded our expectations. Manager Tulsi is one of the friendliest managers I have come across in all my travels across different countries. He arranged a car with a driver for us for our sightseeing needs. The hotel has a beautifully well-maintained garden restaurant. The staff Manita, and Bhishnu at the restaurant are all very friendly. Highly recommend staying here in Kathmandu

Can’t say enough good things about Oasis hotel and the lovely staff! It is an excellent hotel with great facilities and a really good breakfast. They made sure to book us airport drop off as well which was really appreciated. It is a great location in Thamel, central but off a quiet street which felt safe and comfortable!

It’s our first time in Nepal, and we’re already falling in love—with the warm-hearted people and their generous hospitality. The hotel is right in the heart of Thamel, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and quiet. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The staff—from the manager and reception to the waiters—were all incredibly cordial and professional, making us feel truly welcome. The food was excellent, especially the traditional Nepali thali, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfasts were also delightful and filling. As a family of three, we were given a spacious room that made our stay even more comfortable.

The staff were fantastic, welcoming, polite, helpful. We were treated so well. Breakfast on the rooftop was a lovely way to begin the day. We were given an upgrade which was lovely, after travelling for 24 hours.

This was my second stay here and will not be my last. You feel welcome and at home. Rooms are clean. The restaurant has wonderful meals. The outdoor area is lovely, offering a quiet and shaded space for relaxation a few steps from Thamel's vibrancy. Last but not least, the personnel are warm and friendly while remaining super professional.
