The staff at reception were always pleasant and smiley. I was always greeted kindly by them and enjoyed my conversations throughout my time at the grand Yak. Also very helpful with advice about my stay in Nepal. I stayed here twice during my Nepal trip. The location of the hotel is ideal for restaurants and bars in the Thamel area everything being a short walk. It isn't noisy at night either. Rooms are well maintained and well equipped with a mini bar if need be. Excellent value for money I thought. Thanks to the staff for the warm welcome!

The Grand Yak Boutique has very friendly staff, who are helpful and cheerful all the time, the rooms are super clean. Centrally located for pilgrimage, business or leisure. Highly recommended!!!

the room & value for money is 10/10 lots of people mention the bathroom however we had no issues whatsoever Good shower and hot water so no complaints
