Great location, good social backpacker vibes. They have stuff on most evenings, including a pub quiz and the locals swing by to hang out as well which is really nice.

This is my Go-To in Kampala - I think I’ve stayed near 20 times in past seven years. I now always take their best room w en suite though their doubles w corridor shower and toilet facilities are fine too. Location is excellent w several good restaurants a short walk away and also Acacia Mall 10/15 mins walk up the hill. What I love is that almost all the Bushpig staff are unchanged in seven years - sign of a really well-run business!

A nice and friendly place in Kampala. Definitely worth the price. We stayed in the bigger room with private bath, which was large and airy. Had nice veranda, cool breeze and beautiful views of the city. The only downside was problems we faced with hot water. The staff really tried, they succeeded once but it is still a problem that needs to be solved. We loved breakfast and the nice and tasty restaurant ( we ate there only once). Gloria and the crew are amazing and do a very fine job, Another plus - the Acacia mall is just a kilometer away and the staff arranges for you reliable boda-boda rides.

The location is excellent in Dar es Salaam. The staff were great and helpful and the place had great recommendations for the city.
