Super base for attending a gig at the Picturedrome in town. Just a 7 minute ride away. Quirky place with lots of nooks and crannies. The Christmas lights inside were amazing and made us feel really Christmassy.

Brilliant find on booking.com. Sooo Nice and christmassy. Welcoming and friendly. Nice rooms and comfy beds. Perfect. Short taxi ride into town but really could have stayed in the cozy pub all night. Lovely breakfast thank you. We will stay again. We used to live in HD9 so it was fab for us.

Lovely country pub!!! All Christmassy and warm. Staff were welcoming and took good care of us. Food was amazing and will definitely be back!!!

This is a lovely old Inn with excellent food at a reasonable cost. Good selection of ale and wine. Has the added attraction of its connection with “Last of the Summer Wine”
