The location was perfectly situated!! Many restaurants, shops, and historic sites. The breakfast location was absolutely lovely an we enjoyed the selectionbeing served! The owner and staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Location, next to everything, own parking lot, room design is decent as it is refurbished from a castle, like the big bathroom with towel heater, the lady checked us in is very helpful and nice.

A unique piece of Portuguese history situated right next to the cathedral within the old walls of Guarda. A sympathetically restored property retaining all its charm with modern amenities. Delightful Portuguese Dona greeted us to explain everything. Note that she only speaks Portuguese, which wasn't a problem to us. It's just great fun(genuinely)for those who don't. Beautiful room throughout superbly decorated. Very comfortable beds and modern bathroom with quality separate shower. Plentiful breakfast with homemade produce. When you arrive park in the courtyard, climb the stone steps and ring the bell to get service. It was a privilege to stay here.
