We had a lovely stay. A very peaceful place in a beautiful setting, gorgeous views either side. Very comfortable bed and great rooms. Thank you for an enjoyable weekend

Very spacious suite with nice 'retro' touches. Comfortable bed, plenty of tea/coffee, etc. and small fridge which came in handy. Quiet but scenic location which was only short walk into Grasmere (and the highly recommended Freda + Ray cafe) and even less to the Swan pub. Our host was very accommodating to our request to arrive early. We'll hopefully be back!

Location, comfort. Most comfortable bed, best flat white I’ve had in Freda and Rays Cafe. Owner very kind and helpful, easy check in and out, cleaned every day.

Lovely spacious, clean, modern room on the edge of Grasmere. A great base from which to explore the region. We were expecting breakfast to be provided; Booking.com says it isn't, but other sites say it is. Well, it isn't. But that's fine, because the owners also run a cafe in the village, where we had breakfast, which was excellent!

Mike offered an earlier check in as we wanted to go on a long walk on our arrival to Grasmere, we have 10% discount for Freda and Rays cafe, and the offer of a free coffee for my birthday, which was very generous
