I recently stayed at Hotel Major in Genoa, and it was an unforgettable experience. The service was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always eager to help. The hotel’s location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town, just steps away from museums, restaurants, and the charming narrow streets that give Genoa its unique character. Staying here really made me feel like I was a part of the city's vibrant life. The hotel itself isn’t shiny, new, or ultra-modern, but that’s part of its charm. It has a genuine, old-world atmosphere that you can’t find in more generic places. It’s comfortable and has all you need for a pleasant and short stay, with the added bonus of offering an authentic experience of Genoa’s history and culture.

It was centrally located right smack in the old town. Take a bus from the train station and only 5 mins walk. The room was ok, the AC was alright, everything was just as stated.

The location is very good in the old town, easy to find. the owner is very friendly and helpful, there was very hot when we were in Genoa, the aircon in our room did not work well, but when we spoke to the landlord, he replaced new machine straightway, he helps us with the information how to explore the city and where to eat. the room and bathroom clean and comfortable, the owner' family look after us well, we will stay again.
