Maria at reception was super friendly and helpful. The pool was very clean and quiet, easy to relax. The elegant furnishings made it easy to enjoy and a lovely breakfast was on offer each day.

Hotel Benois in Galissas, Syros, has its positives, but also some significant drawbacks. The location is excellent, with Galissas Beach just a short 100-meter walk away, making it very convenient for beachgoers. The hotel also features a nice restaurant and a pleasant pool area with comfortable loungers, perfect for relaxing. However, our stay was marred by a few issues. The room was just okay, but every time we entered, we were met with an unpleasant smell of drains. Additionally, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and quite small for a double bed. The breakfast provided was decent, and the staff were friendly enough. However, we were disappointed that when we were escorted to our room on the first floor, no one offered to help with our luggage. We had to carry our suitcases ourselves, even as the staff walked past them. Another downside was the paper-thin walls. We could hear every footstep and conversation in the corridors, which was quite disruptive. On the plus side, the hotel is close to a few local restaurants, a small mini-market, and a snack bar, adding to the convenience. In summary, while Hotel Benois offers a good location and some nice amenities, the issues with the room comfort, noise, and lack of service when it came to our luggage detracted from the overall experience.

Tucked away on the other side of the island of syros lyes Hotel Benois. The hotel is opposite a secluded beach to enjoy morning swims and breathtaking sunsets. The hotel is stylish yet comfy with lots of little nooks to curl up in with a good book in. The rooms are very clean and the pool is stunning with an abundance of pool beds and chairs to sleep the afternoon away in. What I loved the most however was the staff. Family run, Hotel Benois is warm and welcoming and the owner is fluent in many languages to converse and connect the guests .Travelling alone "its the people you meet not the places you go" I highly recommend this Hotel and look forward to returning again.

Lovely swimming pool with comfy sunbeds. Breakfast was good with lots of nice places to sit. Dinner was outstanding and we ended up eating here three nights

We arrived early morning and check in was not until 2pm but we were made to feel welcomed whilst we waited with access to the pool. Check in was also earlier than expected.

Lovely clean and well appointed hotel with an excellent pool area, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent buffet breakfasts, restaurant and outdoor bar area for sipping cocktails and watching the Aegean sunsets. Close to beach and supermarket. Other nice restaurants nearby too.

This hotel exceeded expectations. Breakfast was fabulous, and the lunch and dinner dining was also excellent. The location on The beach was second to non. Staff were amazing-especially Maria and Forsay(wrong spelling). We couldn’t have been looked after better. Our daughter and partner joined us from Australia and also her best school friend and partners from England so we were a mixed generation group. We will definitely return. This is like old school Greece from the 70’s and 80’s. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you Benois.

Helpful, polite English speaking stuff. Superb location just across the street from Galissas beach. The price is a little bit premium compared to other accommodations in the area, but it is deserved for great service and good breakfast options. The hotel has its own restaurant with huge plate sizes, a nice swimming pool, and private parking. There is no loud music at the nearby venues, and the tourist traffic here is comparably lower from the other locations on Syros, nice quiet place.
