Location is in the centre of town. Breakfast was great with some good options. Staff were friendly. Room was adequate for a short stay and was clean.

Plenty of choice for breakfast and beautifully cooked. Our room was great - very 'olde world' but with modern facilities. The location was in the middle of Frome so absolutely spot on. The staff were friendly, efficient and went out of their way to be helpful and make our stay enjoyable. We had lunch one day and that was really tasty and nicely cooked.

All staff exceptionally helpful, courteous and pleasant. They were expecting us and called me by name as we checked in. Very nice large bedroom with balcony. Really comfortable bed, best night’s sleep for ages. Secure car parking. In centre of Frome so very convenient for seeing the town. Traditional hotel, with the character we expected. Good breakfast. Delicious free chocolates in bedroom. Discount given for slow arrival of our dinner.

Booked for one night as we were on our way to Newquay. Smooth check in by pleasant young man. He explained well on how to get to our room. Room No 1 had a huge comfy bed in and was very nice. Breakfast: We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us where things were, then came to take our order. We both had a full English breakfast which was really good and piping hot. Would definitely stay here if we were to do this trip again.

When I booked I completed the special request form and also spoke to Wayne and explained I had recently had a knee operation and asked for a room with not too many stairs to climb. He said there were not many bookings when I made mine and that should be fine. Unfortunately we were allocated Room 1 which although was lovely and the service received from all staff at the hotel was amazing. There were many stairs. to go up and down to reach the room. So not sure what happened?
