Wow, what a great experience in an amazing place. The family were lovely and made sure we were always looked after. We did a really good cooking course on the first night, learning to cook 7 Sri Lankan dishes. Whenever we needed to get a tuk tuk to town, uncle would drive us there for a really good price. It’s hard to describe the location in words to give it justice. Set next to a beautiful waterfall that you can paddle in the top. My girls (10) loved it. The bottom of the waterfall was a bit deep when we were there but you can swim when less rain. Would 100% recommend this for a genuine Sri Lanka experience

The location of being next to a waterfall was an experience that we wanted to have and didnt disappoint. The views and photo opportunities from the rear garden were great. The best pancake served so far during our holiday. Great price too.

We had such a fantastic over night stay! The view from our room was unbelievable, and it was clean and comfortable. The family were so so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us any way they could (they arranged laundry to be done whilst we were there and drove us to our next destination for a small fee). We also did the cooking class which was brilliant and the food was delicious - would thoroughly recommend! Thank you for such a great stay! ❤️

We had the most amazing stay here with Shan and his family, they were so unbelievably kind and helpful. The home is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable, clean and kitted out with everything you may need during your stay. The waterfall in the back garden is also an incredible addition to the home stay. We booked onto Champ’s cooking class and made 7 delicious vegetarian curries. These were the best curries we’ve had on our trip, so I definitely recommend doing this! We also visited Diyaluma Falls with Shan’s uncle and had a great time here, he guided us to the top and showed us all the best places to swim. Breakfast every morning were delicious and very filling. We caught an early train to Kandy on the day of our departure and were even provided a packed breakfast for the journey. The home stay is a short 5 minute Tuktuk drive from Ella, or a 25 minute walk. This never posed a problem. We could not recommend this place higher!
