The fine print
The property suggests guests to bring their own flashlight, insect repellent and sunscreen.Please note that access to the property is done by foot or by horse. It is a 3 hour walk in a mountain, The hike is through wooden area.Guests must pay the entrance to Tayrona Park to the authorities. Guest can access the Tayrona park during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 12:30 P.M.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

I had an amazing time. lovely (but challenging) walk to the resort and then a great vibe about the place. shame you can’t swim in the sea but nothing the property can do about that and appreciate that they have a pool to relax in

The lodges are absolutely beautiful with the luxury of having your own hammocks, rocking chairs and your own bathroom. Really a great option to recharge your batteries after the hike. The location is magical and I also enjoyed the extra hike to the waterfall close by :)

Superb cabina facing the sea with private bathroom and secluded, uncrowded beach. (We were the only ones on it for most of the day). An incredible experience. Safely slept with doors open to the ocean. Spotlessly clean. A swimming pool! Good food. Friendly staff. Cash or PayPal only. And a super hike to get there. Walk from Calabazo. I queues at the ticket office here. Bring passport. It’s a hilly hike but if you start at 8am you should be there by midday enjoying this fantastic place. From here you can walk past all the other Tayrona beaches and out at Zaino in a day if you are a good walker then catch the public bus back to Calabazo.

I would highly recommend this place as it is a gorgeous location! We were in one of the beautiful cabanas with 2 private chairs and a little sunshelter on the beach which were lovely. The sea, as in other places, is quite dangerous so no swimming. We also had our own bathroom a short walk away, which was clean and comfortable. We did have a very poor sleep because it just stayed very hot, and there was no way to cool yourself off inside the cabana (like airco or fan). We had all the windows open but the wind blowing through barely helped, the mosquito net flew all over the place, and the humidity is extreme. So don’t expect a comfy night! All in all, in the middle of the jungle, this is probably the best you’re going to do and a cool experience.

What a lovely place! Our own private beach with chairs on the beach and they made a small roof to create shade. The room.was very niceand spacious with very good mosquito nets. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The beach is beautiful even though you can't swim as the sea is dangerous but there is a very nice swimming pool if you really want to swim. The meals are copious and the facilities really clean.

Fantastic beach front private cabin. I thought food and drink was reasonable given location, certainly much cheaper than anything in Europe if slightly more expensive than Colombia elsewhere. Nice room, beautiful location. Allowed us to have an early breakfast.

I loved my beachfront cabana, it was clean and comfortable and the hammock on the balcony is a bonus. All the staff were really lovely.
