Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. Rooms were rather noisy and odd that they charge extra for the spa. Staff really were wonderful and it’s a lovely, independent hotel experience with bags of charm.

Chris and Rafael were very helpful and nice! The hotel is charming and has a beautiful view over the lake. Breakfast is a delight!

The Lake Hotel was lovely. The rooms spacious and very comfortable. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel in a very convenient location. Tidy and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Good views from the rooms , we could see the lake from the room clearly. They serve good food in the restaurant. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Overall a night very well spent in Egilsstadir.

Location was good, best breakfast we’ve had so far! Plenty of vegan options for breakfast. Dinners was also good. Bed was very comfortable!

Good choice if you're driving the Ring Road and need a stop before heading from the north to the south of Iceland (or other easy around). The hotel is a bit basic, but the restaurant serves amazing food – definitely worth dining there! They also offer free use of their washing machine and dryer, which was very convenient.

Good hotel right next to the lake. The room has a good size with a kettle and the hot pool (spa) was nice after a long day out (not that you have to pay extra). The restaurant at the hotel was excellent.

Located near to the Center of Egilstadir. Check-in was comfortable. free parking spots in front of the Hotel. The rooms we're tidy and clean. Breakfast was very good.
