Hotel Overview

The glamorous Rutland Hotel has stylish rooms, a luxurious late-lounge, and a unique restaurant with a glass wine cellar. It is situated on the West End of Princes Street, with views of Edinburgh Castle.
The Rutland is between Edinburgh's shopping and financial districts. The Scott Monument is a 15-minute walk away, and the EICC can be reached in under 10 minutes’ walk.
Each unique room is chic and elegant. In-room treats include free Wi-Fi, a surround sound system, a flat-screen TV, bathrobes and GHD hair stylers. Guests can also enjoy homemade shortbread, real coffee and designer teas.

We stayed at the Rutland Hotel for three nights, and it far exceeded our expectations. We were upgraded to an apartment instead of a room (a huge thank you for that!). The apartment was exceptional – spacious, well-located on Rutland Street (the street named after the hotel, making it so easy to find after exploring the beautiful city of Edinburgh), and incredibly comfortable. The reception staff were warm and welcoming, always attentive to our needs. We truly felt at home during our stay!

This hotel absolutely took our breath away. All I can say is wow! Where to begin? The underfloor heating in the bathroom was such a luxury in the winter. The water bottles and tea bags were complimentary and restocked with the room service. All appliances were excellent quality - Smeg kettle and toaster and even GHD straighteners in the room. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

We got an upgrade from double to 1-bedroom apartment, which was awesome. Location of Rutland H&A is perfect and the breakfast was super.
