I really liked the friendly and competent staff who complied with my request for a quiet room. I enjoyed the both the evening and meal and breakfast. I appreciated Katie showing me the historic cellars of The Lamb. With good rooms, food and staff, I can thoroughly recommend The Lamb.

Very good breakfast, friendly and efficient welcome, cosy room and a decent size. Comfy bed and a nice warm room with easy to adjust temperature.

I loved the homely feel of the room, the view over the rooftops with the South Downs in the distance, and the cooing of the pigeons,The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was nice and warm. Nat & her team were wonderful and made sure I was happy and well fed each morning. A really lovely stay.

Lovely overnight stay would have stayed another night if possible. The full English was excellent as expected, all good would definitely stay there again.

The full English breakfast was excellent. I was on the top floor and the accommodation was much quieter than expected considering it is a pub. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were also better than expected with quality coffee and fresh milk. There is a good choice on the food menu and the food quality was great.
