Don’t let first impressions fool you, from the outside it may appear to be akin to a property from Harry Potter but inside it is my more modern and comfortable. The staff were excellent, they were friendly and knowledgeable with the local area. We were also treated to the storey of the house and the extensive work that the owners have done since taking ownership. Will certainly stay there again

The suite was very clean and well appointed . Perfect for our weekend stay The pont y pant railway stn was around 200 yards from the accommodation and 6 mins or so , one stop , to betwys y coed . Perfect for a lovely meal out , a glass of wine and the train home . The owners of the property Carrie and Mike , are delightful , incredibly friendly and welcoming . Nothing was too much trouble and their breakfasts were superb . We travelled with two small dogs who were also made very welcome . I would highly recommend this property .

Superb hosts, so friendly. They went out of their way to make you feel so welcome. The suite was lovely and clean and there were lots of little touches and complimentary sweets etc which added to the experience. The full breakfast was excellent, well worth the six pounds. Great location for zipmas, just ten minutes away.

I visited Plas Penaeldroch Manor with three members of my family where we had a wonderfully spacious suite of two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lounge, it was perfect for our requirements. We received a very warm welcome from Mike and Carrie to their beautiful, old, quirky house which wrapped itself around you like a big hug. The rooms contained everything we required for an evening of games, drinks and nibbles and in the morning we were treated to a wonderful, freshly cooked breakfast which set us up perfectly for a walk in the forest at the back of the house and along the river in front of the house.
