We provided our own breakfast, and were happy to find all the cutlery, plates and bowls that we needed. The little fridge provided was very handy for storing our milk. The room and bathroom were extremely well set out, with great attention to detail. The coffee machine worked very well, and the coffee itself really good. Although small, the room lacked only a couple of chairs, but this was made up for by having a nicely sweet up window seat with padded seat and cushions. The bay window also provided a lovely view of the houses on the hillside. At this time of year, we did also see some fireworks being let off from one of the higher houses. The window itself was a new double glazed unit, meaning that the room was nice and quiet and draught free. The bathroom was very small, but perfectly equipped with shower, loo and handbasin. Cleaning materials were provided for those staying more than one night. The location of the property was brilliant - a quiet street set back from the nearest thoroughfare. We found a free parking space within a few minutes easy walk. The room itself was in a very peaceful setting, perfectly quiet. The only consideration was the steps and mental spiral staircase leading to the room, although the metal spiral staircase was in excellent condition. It's just that we are in our mid seventies now! On the way down, be careful of the lower flight of stone steps, as there is an extra step down, not easy to see in the dark. We were delighted with our stay, and found the roomm bijou but beautifully and thoughtfully provided for and set up. Access was also easy upon arrival, and communication was excellent throughout.The location was brilliant - four minutes from the Theatre, and easy access to all shops, the harbour, and to interesting back streets.

Great place to stay if You want to be centrally located , everything close for shops, pubs and attractions. Cozy en-suite room with balcony and shared courtyard for alfresco drinks( weather permitting) it maybe central but it’s very quite in the evening
