GreyFriars is in an excellent location, close to the main sites in Colchester. The staff are very efficient and friendly. Room was comfortable and everything was of a high standard.

The last time I stayed at the hotel, the breakfast was superb, and the staff were highly professional. Egg royal was superb!

Superb hotel, a few minutes walk from the centre of Colchester, maintaining a standard that would match any, anywhere. Clean, comfortable with a fully equipped bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with table service rather than buffet. Free secure parking in the grounds of the hotel. The hotel is excellent value for money.

Everything was perfect BUT the noise from the pipes kept me awake all night. So unfortunate as it would have been a 10/10 stay otherwise.
