Alan, Sue and the team do a cracking job of looking after their guests. We were made so welcome and they couldn’t have been more hospitable. Everywhere is clean and well maintained to a high standard. Meals we had (breakfast and dinner) were all exceptional and cooked with fresh ingredients. We loved relaxing by the fire with a glass of wine.

Staff where friendly, bed was sooo comfy, and breakfast was amazingly good... thank you for your services. If we're ever up this way again would definatly stay here. Views where amazing and it was a lovely walk down to the nearest village Cartmel itself where there is a lovely courtyard with its own brewery in the corner that sells its own beer and had live music. Lovely little place and some beautiful buildings to see around the village itself.

Outstanding views from the room and the bar. Great twin room (which can be hard to find) and friendly, helpful staff. Didn’t have dinner there but breakfast was excellent.

The room was very spacious and with all the facilities you would expect. Comfy bed and bathroom had shower and bath. The staff went the extra mile, posting a book that I forgot behind. We had a lovely time. The hotel is far from Cartmel centre but we managed to get a taxi for 7£ on way.

Beautiful small hotel the location and view was amazing . Breakfast was really good ordered to individual choice . The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome we will definitely return.
