A very nice welcoming hotel... used to stay in Hilton Cambridge, but Clayton tops them easily. Bed and in- room facilities are 5 stars...

Really comfy, enormous bed. Good choice at buffet breakfast, although wished there were more cooked to order options.

I think it was probably the comfiest bed I have ever slept on and my partner agreed. You couldn't but love this bed including the lovely Foxford wool blanket. Clipper tea (best on the market in my view) in the room with a range of tea options plus milk in the mini-fridge. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of options for all. Dinner, although a limited menu, was nicely prepared and cooked. Staff at reception, bar and restaurant we're all really professional and friendly.

Location was super close to the Cambridge train station. We enjoyed the lobby's art-deco interior design. We're able to leave our bags before check in time. Room was large for 3 of us with super comfy beds. Probably the best bed I've slept in a hotel in my years of travelling! Breakfast had a good range of food.

Excellent hotel, was going to use luggage storage as we arrived at 11am but room was ready so able to check in. Large clean rooms, comfy beds, great walk-in shower. Good choice at breakfast. Quiet area even though it’s near the railway station, plenty of taxis into city if you don’t want to walk. Didn’t bother us but takes 15-20 minutes

Hotel was beautiful. Great location to the train station and easy walk into the centre. Staff were fabulous and really friendly and welcoming. We will be staying again
