Food good, but evening meals ridiculously large! Breakfasts good quality, but not a great choice. Nice location in Barmouth.

Staff are attentive without being obtrusive. Comfortable bed. Generous facilities- I do enjoy several cups of tea and biscuits. Great breakfast.

Property was in a perfect location, 1 street from the beachfront and above a pub which we thought was great. Beds were comfy and the room was very clean. Breakfast was also lovely and the entire stay was amazing for the value we paid.

Hotel really central and close to everything we needed. Room was really spacious with lots of room for 2 adults and a dog. Beds comfy with plenty of pillows, fairly clean. Lots of light / lamp options and lots of mirrors. The first hotel ever to provide enough milk sachets for a nice room coffee! Breakfast was lovely - sausages could have been better but other ingredients and bacon especially was 10/10. Service at breakfast was lovely with sausages provided for the dog too - thank you! We ate one lunch at the hotel and would really recommend the Welsh lamb burger.

We had a lovely stay at the Taly Don. We were able to check in at 1pm (which was really useful so we could leave our luggage) and were greeted and shown to our room by a friendly and polite young man, who offered to carry bags up the 2 flights of steps. The room was very clean and a good size which was great as we had our dog with us. The room had bottled water and a good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. Bedding was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfy, so we slept well! Shower room (with smallish cubicle) was also very clean and nice, big towels are provided. Hotel is in a good, central location- close to the beach, train station and other amenities. A real bonus here was the super breakfast included. The lady serving the breakfast was really friendly and professional and made us (and our dog) feel very welcome. The cooked breakfast was great quality and beautifully cooked- we really enjoyed it. The whole place felt like somewhere that genuinely cared that their guests had a good stay. Thank you! We hope to return again soon.
