Staff and other clients very friendly. First room offered very small but with huge bathroom! We were swapped to a bigger one with absolutely no fuss! Very well handled, meal magnificently freshly cooked and delicious!!

Excellent breakfast, two friends joined me for dinner and that was just as good. Strange room with no TV in the bedroom part and two small bathrooms. Very comfortable beds. Very friendly landlady and chef. Good draught beer.

The staff on arrival and departure were friendly. We were staying here to attend a friend's wedding and the location in relation to Belper was convenient (10 minutes).
